It is a valid question and perhaps we can better answer you with the following information:
1. No Pesticides or Herbicides are used in FLP’s Aloe Vera fields.
2. No Artificial Flavor or Colour is added into FLP’s Aloe Vera drinks. There are many harvests during the course of the year and colour and taste may vary. Bleach (Hydrogen Peroxide) has been known to be added to some other Aloe Vera products and is used to keep the colour consistent all year long. However, we firmly believe that colour change is NATURAL and HEALTHY.
3. FLP’s Aloe Vera drinks are NOT Homogenized. Our juices are rich in nutritious pulp which is necessary for our daily diets. It is advised to shake the drinks well to receive the full benefits of our pulp. But the pulp is usually strained in Aloe Vera products manufactured by other companies.
4. FLP’s Aloe Vera Gel is not boiled. Although boiling or pasteurization is cheaper and faster, excessive heat destroys the active ingredients. We use only sub- pasteurization temperatures (known as cool processing) to ensure enzyme activity and greater potency or effectiveness. Cool processing also locks in the nutrients of Aloe Vera immediately after harvesting and enables the bottled Aloe Vera products to retain its full potency for a considerable length of time. Without stabilization, the potency drops off in a few days and spoilage occurs, even under refrigeration.

6. Only mature Aloe leaves (3-5 year old plants) is harvested. Otherwise the gel is not potent
